Our mission is to extend supportive services and resources which will provide for the essential needs of our customers. In partnership with public and private entities, we will initiate efforts to enhance the employment potential of all County residents and promote self-sufficiency for each individual. We will utilize a teamwork approach in achieving our goals, and in doing so will treat each other and those we serve with dignity and respect.
We serve all children, adults, and families who need protection from abuse, neglect, and exploitation; financial and economic support; their family relationships established, nurtured and continuum of education, prevention and intervention services; strengths-based family assessment; direct services; and advocacy. Through the wise use of community resources and in collaboration with the others, we provide a flexible process that promotes self-sufficiency while preserving dignity, privacy, and physical and emotional well-being.
Family, Adult & Children's Services
The purpose of FACS is to provide quality services to at-risk children, their families, and the community in order to achieve safe children, stable families and supportive communities. Services include: child and adult protective services, daycare and adoptions, foster care recruitment, training and certification.
Medical & Family Stability
The purpose of MFS is to assist families and individuals in need to temporary financial assistance, supplemental food benefits and health insurance. Service Programs Include: Ohio Works First, Prevention Retention & Contingency, Food
Assistance, Healthy Start, Medicaid, & Fraud Prevention.
Child Support Enforcement Agency
The Henry County Child Support Enforcement
Agency provides the following services:
- Establishment of paternity
- Establishment of a support order
- Location of absent parent
- Enforcement of support order
- Health insurance/medical support
- Review and adjustment
- Termination of orders

In our resource center, computers with internet access,
phones, fax, copy machine, resume software, and reference
materials, etc. are all available for employment related needs.

fairs, are always displayed on our bulletin board.
Individualized employment and training services may be
available to eligible youth, adult, and dislocated workers.
